This Week at Alice Holt Forest

It’s half term and the sun is shining!

Alice Holt Forest, as always, is a great place to come along and get active on a bike or on foot. There is currently no regular bike hire at the forest, but it’s a great place to come with your own bike. If you’re not sure your bike is in tip top condition, we’ll be offering free bike safety checks, with advice on what may be needed to make them roadworthy.

And if you wear a helmet, we’ll be advising on correct helmet fitting too.

Our advice is free of charge, but it’s important that you still take responsibility for your own safety – we can’t advise on every eventuality.

If two-wheelers don’t suit your abilities, then our amazing fleet of alternative cycles can cater for all kinds of people, with physical, sensory or learning impairments. So we’re running free sessions on Thursday and Friday.

Here’s what we’re up to:

Thursday 30th October and Friday Friday 31st October

9.00am – 1.00pm – Cycling for People with Disabilities

2.00pm and 4.00pm – Free Bike Safety Checks and Helmet Fitting Advice
