So here we are on Day 3 of Bike Week. How’s it going for you?
Did you go riding over the weekend?
A few of my friends did the London to Brighton, but I was at a wedding, so, alas, couldn’t make it. I need to make up some mileage!
Are you riding in to work this week?
If so, don’t forget CTC’s new Bike to Work package – a good way of getting all the benefits of CTC membership wrapped up with breakdown insurance for you and your bike.
Riding for fun this week?
On Wednesday, we have a number of people coming to ride with us at Alice Holt Forest, using our fleet of bikes suitable for disabled riders.
Got any plans for next weekend?
The Bike Week website has a great event finder that helps you to locate events happening near you.
One event which looks like a fun day for Hampshire is the Winton House Centre’s Sponsored Family Cycle Ride which starts from Petersfield at 2pm on Sunday 22nd June. The ride is a relaxed 6 mile sponsored ride to raise money for the centre – More information is available on the Get Active East Hampshire website.
Alas, I won’t be there myself, as I’ll be at York for CTC’s annual York Cycle Show.
Enjoy the rest of Bike Week!
